About Ashley
As a North Carolina native, Ashley Kevitt has built her career on serving the state she calls home and beginning in 2025, she has brought that enthusiasm for practicing law to the Law Corner. With more than eleven years of experience, Ashley is passionate about guiding clients through important life decisions with clarity, care, and compassion. Ashley strives to ensures her clients feel she is approachable by making complex legal matters feel less overwhelming during an already stressful time, all while still advocating and fighting for each client’s best interests and their desired outcome.
Ashley earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science after graduating Magna Cum Laude from UNC–Wilmington. She then attended the New England School of Law in Boston where she earned her J.D. After law school, she returned to North Carolina and passed the North Carolina State Bar in 2014 and began her practice in Estates, Wills and Trusts in Charlotte. While focusing on estate work, she found working with families to go to court for estate disputes or for guardianships to be the most rewarding. Therefore, after moving to Raleigh eight years ago, it was a natural transition to shift to her focus to Family Law. Now, she continues to help clients navigate complex issues such as custody, child support, equitable distribution, spousal support, absolute divorce, and domestic violence, both in court and out of court through mediation and negating amicable resolutions.
Ashley values the trust of her clients and the relationships she has built within the community. Outside the office, Ashley is a member of the Raleigh Junior League and an active member of North Carolina Bar Association. She also enjoys exploring and traveling to new places around the country and overseas, watching her favorite sports teams (go Heels and Hurricanes) and keeping up with her two dogs, Porter and Queso, who continuously keep her life exciting.
