Miller Motte College: Associates Degree Paralegal
Joanne was born in Sydney, Australia, where she lived all her childhood and her adult life. In 2004, Joanne took a leap of faith and ventured with her children to the United States. She made her way to North Carolina and is proud to call Raleigh her home. After graduating from Miller Motte College in 2012, she became a certified paralegal with the North Carolina State Bar. Shortly thereafter, she started working as a family law paralegal.
Joanne has volunteered in Wake County as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children. She gained extensive court experience while working with children, their parents and other support providers to re-establish the children into a healthy and stable family unit. Joanne’s time volunteering, coupled with her experience as a paralegal in Family Law and her passion to assist families through the most challenging time in their lives, has made her an asset to our firm. Joanne is always willing to take the call and help in any way she can. She steps up when you need her to and she has proven to be reliable in both her words and actions.
